{"id":25280,"date":"2018-05-04T08:08:50","date_gmt":"2018-05-04T07:08:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prosertek.comblog\/dunkerque-terminal-lng\/"},"modified":"2022-03-31T11:22:12","modified_gmt":"2022-03-31T10:22:12","slug":"dunkerque-terminal-lng","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prosertek.com\/blog\/dunkerque-terminal-lng\/","title":{"rendered":"Dunkerque terminal LNG"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Dunkerque terminal LNG<\/strong>, located on 56 hectares of land in the East Port of Dunkerque, with a dock that allows the loading and unloading of tanker ships larger than GNL (267,000 m<sup>3<\/sup>), at a maximum flow of 14,000 m<sup>3<\/sup>\/h of unloading and 4,000 m<sup>3<\/sup>\/h of reload.\u00a0 Currently modifications are being carried out to allow for the Dunkerque LNG terminal to reach a maximum rate of reload of 8,800 m<sup>3<\/sup>\/h of GNL.<\/p>\n<p>With the purpose of guaranteeing the operational security, in all of Dunkerque terminal\u2019s docking phases, the help of the <a href=\"https:\/\/prosertek.comharbour-equipment\/bas\/\">BAS Berthing Aid System<\/a>, developed by the company Prosertek, has been adopted, This system allows for the <strong>monitorization of all docking and mooring phases<\/strong> and the analysis of the different parameters of the environmental surroundings.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19987\" src=\"https:\/\/prosertek.comwp-content\/uploads\/Dunkerque-lng-3.jpg\" alt=\"Dunkerque-lng-3\" width=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/prosertek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Dunkerque-lng-3.jpg 800w, https:\/\/prosertek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Dunkerque-lng-3-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The system, based on <strong>laser measurements<\/strong>, allows the monitorization of the movement of the ship and <strong>reporting the distance, speed and tilt angle with respect to the dock<\/strong>. In the docking phase, Prosertek supplied the <a href=\"https:\/\/prosertek.comharbour-equipment\/quick-release-hooks\/\">quick escape hooks<\/a>, with stress monitorization.\u00a0 This allows the system to have real time readings of the mooring line stress.
